ow.ly – It’s the final days of August and yet another summer is coming to a close. What that means to most windsurfers who make Maui home is that, with Fall knocking on the door, our anticipation of the upcoming north shore wave season grows stronger and stronger every day. By all accounts, last year’s wave season was epic, starting at the end of August with some incredible surf all Fall, Winter and much of Spring. In anticipation of the upcoming season and appreciation of last season, I put together a little highlight real of Hookipa action I caught between August 2009 and April 2010 (the 2010 model year, as it were).
