Big Kahuna says that surfing and outrigger canoe racing should be Olympic sports, always held in Hawaii in the winter when the big waves come. This is Polynesian culture and extreme sport. The Waikiki Beach Boys are responsible for the preservation of surfing during the decimation of Hawaiian culture by the onslaught by American occupation.
