Another practice day @ Peahi. Wave heights reached 20-25 foot Hawaiian scale. That means 40-50 foot wave faces. But nothing we havent seen before. But what we havent seen before that made this swell uniquely larger than previous years was the duration of the swell. It lasted 2 full days as oppose to 1 full day. Peahi’s cliff was nutz and the channel was nutz too but was more nutz in 2004. Letz hope for a bigger XMAS swell and more by the end of this El Nino winter season.

Try and refrain from saying “hella cool” while you’re here on Maui especially if you plan on surfing…you might get beat up…I’m just sayin’…
Stand up paddle is the most ridiculous sport I’ve ever seen. So lame….what’s the point? The guy couldn’t even turn his board..
you probably know better than me but most people i chill there don’t judge me based off a saying and certainly wouldnt “beat me up” for saying it.
