Me too! The music from this song and the pictures fit perfectly. I imagined beautiful sights when listening to him too, especially this version of the song. How could a human make the sounds to match those sights like Jimi did? Doesn’t anyone else think it’s an absolute miracle the talent that Jimi had? Being the greatest guitarist in the world is so much more than just technique. Jimi was not of this earth.

Jimi laying down what was to become the law of relativity.
Jimi equals beauty squared and the God’s making Love.
Beautiful post, celestrial sounds coupled with the quite beuatiful and fitting Hubble pictures …Thank You

i think jimi should’ve done 2001 Space Odyssey soundtrack. The film would have much more meaning.

One day I was buying some vinyl. There was all these records below the shelves for a dollar each. I was digging thru them and I came upon a plain white jacket with nothing on it. I took te record out and again the label was the same: white with no writing. So I was totally interested an bought it for $1. Brought it home, dropped the needle and was blown away… it was the entire Rainbow bridge concert! I beieve it is the greatest find in the history of record buying :)

I’ve always loved this version of Hey Baby. I regret not buying a double CD bootleg(excellent quality) of both of his Maui concerts when I was younger, but $54 is alot of money if your only 15yr old, lol.

tacitus2244 September 20, 2009 at 1:04 pm

He did two concerts that day.

Too right it is! If you don’t have recordings of the Mauii Concerts maybe I can help, email or message me.
Legal or not, what did Jimi always say – “Pass it on!”
