Jimi Hendrix – Scorpio Woman – Rare Maui Home Recording (Part 1)

Recorded in Jimi’s Maui home that he was staying at for his extended vacation, this 21 minute song is a beautiful masterpiece. This was recorded by him alone probably in 1969 or 1970. Enjoy.

Rare…? This is on an official release…This is not rare in the slightest amount.

Please do not lie in an attempt to get more hits.

Ya ya-ART-love it-can be found with other priceless memorible ideas of unfinished songs on “mourning symphonie ideas” (I urge jimi fans that are musicians to find a copy)

Very nice. Man, I just love the direction Jimi was going with his guitar and music in 1970. Of course, all the fans wanted him to play Purple Haze and Foxy Lady and smash his guitar, but he was beyond that at that point..

In my opinion, the number of views of the video equals the number of Hendrix Fans in the world. Real fans.
Thanks for the recording !!

I love this! This is my favorite sound from Jimi. The quiet depth of his soul spills out like water all over the chords. Its like a personal moment.

As amazing as it is to listen to these tapes, a part of me always feels unsettled about listening to them because I doubt Jim had the intention to release them to the world, they were his private (at the time he wrote them) ideas.

Am I the only one who feels this guilt? I love listening to Hendrix soooo much, but I question if he would have liked these tapes to be released or listened to by others after he passed?

I understand what you mean. It feels like you’re eavesdropping on him from the other room. Very intimate audio.

Rare to nobody, this was released on an official album and can probably be found in walmart.

Yeah, 10 months later and I’m still a jerk. So what.
