I’m going to Maui June 29th for wedding/honeymoon and staying at the Royal Lahaina and then going to stay at the Bamboo Inn. Haven’t decided on wedding locale yet. Is there any place at the Bamboo Inn with tropical views and yet views of the ocean in the background that would be a good wedding location? Help!!!
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! I’m sure you will have an awesome time in Maui–it’s a great place to get married. If you want to get married in Hana, you should ask John, the guy who runs the Bamboo Inn. He was quite nice, and he lives there. I was only there for two days. Honestly, if I were getting married in Maui, I would probably do it on the west side of the island b/c it is sunnier there. (Hana is a tropical RAIN forest.)
Thanks so much for the advice. I love your video.
Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed it.
I wanted to add that if you stay at the Royal Lahaina Resort, be sure to stay in the Tower which is newly-remodeled. We had a partial ocean view room (facing south). Also, the Royal Lahaina Resort is a lovely place to get married. If I were getting married in Maui, I would seriously consider doing it there. They even have a pagoda for weddings, and the grounds are beautiful. But it is YOUR big day, so you should do what is right for you.
