Motorcycle Ride in Oahu, Hawaii on a BMW F 800 GS

I recently returned from a once-in-a-lifetime vacation in Oahu, Hawaii… One of the highlights of my trip was renting an 2009 BMW F 800 GS motorcycle from Big Kahuna Motorcycle Rentals in Waikiki. This is a helmet-cam video just riding around the island a bit.

How much is the rental fee?

I paid $175 for 24 hours – a bit high, but of course so is everything else in Oahu!

Yeah – the camera is a fish eye type – glad it didn’t look that way for real or I would have likely slid of the edge!!

Such a great video, I love the jazz music in the background gives the idea of a smooth ride. Thank you for sharing.

yeah but being able to ride a F800GS on the island – priceless.

So how did it perform?

The F800GS is a great motorcycle! Just saw how it was voted dual-sport motorcycle of the year in Cycle World, August 2009… Was a blast!

Yeah – I am not in expert by any stretch with the camera – sorry you didn’t like it! Only posted this for fun anyway…
