cool. hey thanks man! I’m taking lesson with Lance Turner (the current Punks guitarist) Lance kicks ass too and is a hell of a nice guy! He used my black and white charvel at his last show in Vegas.

Russ is great. He does the best tremolo picking in Eruption I’ve ever heard. Compliments to your camera work and decent audio for a camcorder. Was this recorded in 2004?

i’m guessing this is an early incarnation of the band that’s currently “Steel Panther”? would this be Metal Shop?:-S

Excellent video of Russ. He is truly amazing! I miss him with the Atomic Punks and you can currently watch him shred with “Steel Panther” formerly known as “Metal Skool” and before that…was ‘Metal Shop’.

Sorry for being not up to date, but when did Russ leave the Atomic Punks?

Yes, according to wikipedia, if you want to trust it.

Oustanding. Yes, he was one of the guitarists in Fight, but that was a different style, more rhythmic and raw; I didn’t realize he was such a virtuoso shredder!

I first met Russ at GIT, in Paul Hanson’s open counseling class. The amp chord was passed around the room, and the solo guys were heard. I was in immediate shock when I heard Russ. I was like, who is this guy? I knew that he meant very serious business right then, and there. apb
