1/4 Dec 8, 2009 Jaws Maui – Peahi Maui Big Wave Tow-In Surfing. Sorry for the bad perch. Hard to catch simultaneous rides on back to back waves, Waves were rolling in more westerly than yesterday, bigger than yesterday morning, bit more wind chop. Taken about 7:30am. estimating this set was 50′+ (correct me in comments…)

We don’t know what had happened to him, looking like it was a real washing machine.

I was not sure it was the same guy…good for him. I heard from a friend there, Jason Polakow was under water for 3 waves in a row, lucky he was to come out alive.
WHAT is happening at 1:16? Is that a person flying through the air? Freeze frame it and check it out. It’s only there one second.
