Entry from: Oahu, United States Entry Title: “Camp, Beach, Hike” Entry: “Camp went well this week. A lot smoother than last week. Went to the pool again on Monday and Wednesday. Tuesday we took the kids to Cirque Hawaii- a semi-lame version of the real Cirque du Soleil! They forgot we were coming and I could tell in the show, but the campers liked it so that’s all that really matters. Thursday we went to Paradise Cove Luau, but we got ripped off. We just got to do the side activities, but didn’t get to see the real Luau. Oh well…Friday we were at the pool and the kids did scuba. They got to wear the tanks and gear and go down about 8 feet. It was pretty cool! On Saturday Lacey, Krystina, Casey, and one of Casey’s friends went out to White Plains Beach. We were going out initially to surf, but got there and there was a surf competition going on. So we enjoyed the beach anyway. Sunday we went on a hike in Hawaii Kai called Kuli’ou’ou. It was a great hike with an awesome view at the top! It was about 2 miles each way with lots of stairs at the top. We went to lunch afterwards at Kona Brewery which was right on the water and pretty good food. Then we headed back to relax for the evening.
