The H?na Highway (also known as the Hana Road or Road To Hana) is 68-mile roadway and the main highway connecting the population center of Kahului with the town of H?na in east Maui. Although H?na is about 52 miles from Kahului, a typical trip to H?na takes about three hours, as the road is very winding and passes over many one-lane bridges.

Nice video and tunes! I’m traveling alone to Maui for the first time. ‘just felt desperate for for the need to get away a bit. Your video made me realize I shouldn’t do a solo drive on the road to Hana–that’s an experience to be shared with others! Maybe I’ll do the drive next time I come to Maui with others. Everything you see on the road to Hana is beautiful but i wouldnt recommend taking a tour on it cause it wasnt wonderful!

It’s definitely woth the drive to Hana! Drive a bit further and take a dip in the sacred pools at the foot of Haleakala.
I’ve done the drive twice now. I think the best way would be to stay overnight in Hana and make it a 2-day adventure – at least.
I agree with you and that’s what i did also, we booked a night there and went to hamoa beach in the early am… beautiful… sooo colorful…

I love the Hana Highway! I went there last week, and it was a really beautiful drive. When we finally got to the town of Hana, I bought a t-shirt that says “I survived the road to Hana!” Amazing video, by the way.

That drive was long took us 3 hours think get to the end my aunt turned back cause it was to long.
I used to make that drive about once a week when I was living in Kula. I miss Maui so much now that Im not there anymore.

We loved our drive to Hana! It was the most beautiful drive I’ve ever been on in my life! It got a bit stressful at times due to some of those blind turns and the narrow roadway, but was totally worth it!
