Tow-in Surfing Peahi (Jaws) Maui December 7 2009

Best day in years at Peahi. Crowds, helicopters, cane fields….it’s all here. At the end of the video a bad decision leaves a surfer munched by a close-out left. Unfortunately, it’s the first wave of a giant six-wave set and he is washed almost all the way onto the rocks. The rescue is tense and just in time.
